The Lithuanian boys’ U-15 national team played their second match of the UEFA “Development” Tournament in Bulgaria.

Dominykas Galkevičius’s side suffered a heavy 0–5 (0–2) defeat against their Polish counterparts. Earlier, Lithuania had lost to the host nation Bulgaria in a penalty shootout, and they will conclude their participation in the tournament on Wednesday with a match against Slovakia.

The UEFA “Development” Tournaments are designed to give young players international match experience, ensuring that all participants get a similar amount of playing time.

In Sunday’s match, Poland laid the foundations for their victory in two bursts of goals. They struck twice within five minutes in the first half and added two more goals immediately after the break.

Meanwhile, the Lithuanian team were unable to break through the Polish defense this time.
